2019-10-15 |Just in time for the eMove360° trade fair in Munich (October 15 to 17, 2019), Vestel Germany is presenting itself with an expanded E-Charger product portfolio and is showing new intelligent charging solutions for 2020 for the first time. The Vestel exhibition stand in Hall A5 Stand 406 is focusing on E-Chargers for the public sector. Increasing registration numbers of electric cars and the federal government's decision to continue to promote the expansion of charging infrastructure in the public sector in the coming years through subsidies are creating ideal conditions for the introduction of the next generation of Vestel E-Chargers.
New Wallbox EVC04
The new wallbox in the EVC04 series is particularly impressive due to its modular design and is therefore already the universal charging station for the e-mobility of tomorrow. The EVC04 series is available with 7 kW, 11 kW and 22 kW charging power and the basic version is equipped with an RFID card reader for charging release, DC residual current detection and a flame-proof and shock-resistant housing. In addition, a modular kit offers many other technical options from which customers can put together an individual equipment that meets their needs. The equipment options include a TFT display, certified MID meter, local load management, WiFi and Ethernet interface for remote control and diagnostics or a customizable front design. Another optional feature that provides even more flexibility is the matching stand column. The new wallbox will be available from the end of 2019. From the first quarter of 2020, Vestel will offer the EVC04 model with UMTS and MID (meter) for the public sector. Thanks to the legal calibration-compliant billing system via a certified interface, the customer can be sure that their billing data cannot be manipulated.
AC charging station EVC05
With the AC charging station of the EVC05 series, Vestel presents an intelligent charging solution that was specially developed for public areas. Here, too, the range of functions can be expanded and adapted to individual needs. The robust metal charging station delivers 2 x 22 kW charging power and also has an option for 2x 230 volt Schuko sockets. Installation and service are extremely easy thanks to remote maintenance and online software updates. Vestel also offers a legal metrology-compliant billing system for the EVC05 series, which will be available from the end of the first quarter of 2020.
All-in-one solution: DC fast charger EVC03
The Vestel E-Charger range is rounded off by an all-in-one solution for high demands: the DC/AC fast charging station EVC03 becomes the central meeting point when it comes to quickly charging electric cars. In addition to regular charging with alternating current (AC) with 22 kW or 43 kW output, it also enables fast charging with direct current (DC) with up to 180 kW (CCS or CHAdeMO). A total of four charging stations are available - two AC and two DC. The total charging capacity is therefore up to 245 kWh. A 10.1" TFT LCD touch display ensures full control and convenient operation. Equipped with all common network interfaces such as WLAN, Ethernet, LTE and OCCP 1.6, control, operation and maintenance are possible in remote mode. Comprehensive protective devices such as residual current detection, insulation monitoring and overvoltage and lightning protection ensure safety - which is particularly important when charging quickly.
With the products presented for the first time at this year's eMove360°, Vestel Germany can once again significantly expand its electromobility offering: "Thanks to the combination of top-equipped and flexible charging solutions and the associated software for charging and billing management, we are ideally positioned to meet the requirements of the electromobility market," says Taner Ayilmaz, Managing Director of Vestel Germany.
