IFA 2019: Vestel shows diversity

2019-09-17 | The structure of the IFA appearance in Hall 8.2 may have been different this year, but the product diversity and innovative strength shown remained as impressive as before. For the first time, the Vestel Group presented the licensed brands Toshiba TV and Sharp Home Appliances under one roof in Berlin: "It complemented each other very well. With the new stand concept, we can address both our OEM customers and the trading partners who sell our Toshiba and Sharp brands," was the positive conclusion of Vestel Germany Managing Director Taner Ayilmaz.

One thing was clear in Hall 8.2: everyone can benefit from the innovative power of the Vestel Group as Europe's leading manufacturer of brown and white goods. In consumer electronics, this is reflected in impressive image quality up to 8k resolution, fascinating, slim design solutions and smart voice control concepts. In household appliances, innovative features make everyday life easier. In addition, sustainable issues have also become indispensable: "Of course, the Vestel Group is aware of its responsibility as a major player. Resource-saving devices and technical innovations that accommodate a sustainable lifestyle are more in demand than ever. At the IFA, we presented interesting solutions that were very well received," says Taner Ayilmaz.

Sustainability in focus

In particular, Vestel presented environmentally friendly innovations in household appliances that also offer real added value. In the dishwashers, Vestel is setting new standards and introducing devices that completely do without the use of detergent. The new washing machines also only require a fraction of the usual detergent dosage, thus protecting the environment and your wallet. The level of hygiene does not suffer: In both dishwashers, washing machines and refrigerators, Vestel relies on the innovative use of UV light to combat odors and bacteria. In ovens and dryers, negatively charged ions ensure freshness and cleanliness.

E-mobility is being expanded

Consequently, Vestel is continuing to develop the areas surrounding the trending topic of electromobility. In addition to e-chargers for private and business use and the appropriate software solutions to control refueling and billing processes, Vestel is focusing on the development of battery solutions in the future. Batteries for e-bikes are the first step, and offers for other electric vehicles are already being planned. "We are already successfully offering e-chargers under the Vestel brand and as OEM products on the German market. The IFA has shown that this is certainly a growth market that still has a lot of potential. I am looking forward to driving this important topic forward together with our trading partners," says Taner Ayilmaz.
